Job Description
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Client navigator will work in conjunction with the Bariatric Coordinator for patient chart review and assessment of clearance documents/requirements needed for surgery.
- Client navigator will act as a liaison for the patient in scheduling and confirming completion of preoperative requirements.
- Client navigator will act as a liaison between finance and the bariatric coordinator to ensure paperwork and clearance is completed in a timely fashion.
- Client navigator will help with the day-to-day operation of scheduling patient care and ensuring patient's follow-up appointments, imaging, and preoperative consultations are completed in a timely manner.
Assignment Level I
- High School diploma or GED; and
- One (1) year of full-time customer service experience; and
- Good written and oral English communication skills; and
- Computer skills, including word processing, spread sheet and/or database software programs
