  • Housing Works fights for funding and legislation to ensure that all people living with HIV/AIDS have access to quality housing, healthcare, HIV prevention, and treatment, among other lifesaving services.
  • The Housing Works Inc. Reentry Services Program is a collaboration between Housing Works Inc. and The Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice (MOCJ) to provide comprehensive, holistic reentry services to individuals with criminal justice involvement reintegrating into the five borough communities.
  • Under the supervision of the Community Program Manager, the Peer Navigator will support the case management functions for Housing Works Transition and Community Services Reentry program clients.
  • The Peer Navigator will provide appointment escorts and other navigation support, facilitate group counseling sessions and provide 1:1 peer mentor sessions with newly enrolled clients.
  • The Peer Navigator will be a self-starter, able to use lived experience working with persons involved in the NYC criminal legal system with substance use, mental health or behavioral health needs.
  • CRPA (Certified Peer Recovery Advocate) preferred.
