The
Brand Insights & Analytics Manager
is a high-impact role responsible for utilizing market research and trend analysis to make strategic recommendations to their assigned brands, ensuring brand strategy is successful and profitable. This role serves as a subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance for their assigned portfolio of brands. This role requires an individual who is hands on and strategic, performance and profitability-oriented, has an innovative mindset, and can be adaptive and flexible to the needs of the business.
What you'll be doing:
Leverage Circana's syndicated data to evaluate the market forces for the overall toy industry.
Collaborate in the development of products lines by uncovering market insights, opportunities, and new routes-to-market.
Visualize compelling stories to represent the voice of the consumer.
Conduct various ad-hoc reporting analyses to produce insights for the Global Brand Team's strategy, including but not limited to: trend analyses, sell-through, item velocity/productivity, pricing optimization, promotional impacts, and closeout mitigation.
Provide guidance on optimizing shelf space to maximize sales & profitability.
Act as a thought-leader, making the connection across departments, data sets, and processes to driver synergies within the organization.
Influence strategic decisions of product go/no-goes, portfolio rationalization, and Brand spends.
Partner with the BI & Data Team to recommend, develop, and implement improvements to dashboarding to drive scalable automation of reporting.
Assess the impact of content releases has on the business and the overall Industry sales.
Build and own Brand P&L pro-formas and provide the Global Brand Teams governance guardrails during their development negotiations of item's factory costs, quotas, and tooling targets.
Uncover new ways for revenue enhancement and cost savings.
Represent a financial & strategic perspective during cross-functional meetings, driving profitability & ROI conversations within the organization.
Prepare reporting to be reviewed on a rolling basis for Jazwares' Senior Leadership, Licensors, & other external stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of relevant experience in a consumer insights, brand strategy or brand finance role, preferably in the toy, consumer packaged goods, or retail industry
Must have a proven track record of delivering business value by making recommendations utilizing data insights
Experience interpreting a strategic vision into actionable operations
Strong quantitative intuition and data visualization skills
Hands on strategic professional
Strong analytical skills with outstanding attention to detail
Advanced communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex analyses to diverse audiences
Ability to query, clean, and organize data with great attention to detail
Effectively manage competing timelines and priorities

Base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for annual performance incentives may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, salary range may not apply to other states.
Our benefits package includes basic medical insurance that is 100% company-paid for employees and their children, employee basic life and AD&D insurance, a 401(K) retirement program with Jazwares matching up to 4% of pretax or post-tax deferrals, short and long-term disability, and tuition reimbursement.
Our work environment provides a flexible work schedule that includes a Monday through Thursday on-site, with an optional WFH on Fridays, up to 20 workdays fully remote each year, and Time Off for vacation, and sick leave. Through Jazwares Cares, you have the opportunity to volunteer for up to 16 hours a year on community service projects.
