About the Position:

The Account Payable Specialist performs daily review and accurate coding of organizations bills to enter in a timely fashion to the accounting software system.

Job Type: Full-Time

Position: Exempt

Salary: $45,760.00

Location: Tucson, AZ

What You Will Do:

+ Complete accurate coding of bills to proper General Ledger accounts and location.

+ Verify if purchase order approval is needed and due dates on bills.

+ Attach documentation of bills, approvals, and Purchase orders to bill entry in Sage Accounting Software.

+ Verify Due Dates on invoices for timely payments.

+ Attending meetings as appropriate to position. Participate in conferences and training sessions relating to areas of responsibility.

+ Attention to detail.

+ All other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

+ Associate degree in accounting or 2 years of experience in Account Payable data entry

+ Ability to investigate and resolve problems with payable entries.

+ Ability to work constructively with diverse people and with parties that may have divergent perspectives and interests.

+ Excellent written and oral communications skills.

+ Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to foster teamwork and cohesiveness.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

+ Ability to maintain confidential information.

+ Ability to operate general office equipment.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
