Role: The ideal candidate is a team player with strong testing skills, insurance industry knowledge, a good acquaintance with quality assurance concepts, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt to multiple platforms.

Your Day with Equisoft:
  • Review specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverables
  • Understand and identify test requirements from specifications or verbal communications
  • Develop, document and maintain clear and concise functional test plans and test cases
  • Execute and evaluate test cases and report test results
  • Ensure deliverables meet specifications and requirements
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
  • Liaison with development, project management, and customer on quality and project scope and deliverables
  • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and communicate through appropriate channels
  • Participate in key ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment along with a dynamic team composed of software developers, architects, and project managers
  • Take ownership of Quality at every stage of the delivery process
Requirements:

Technical
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or information Technology or College Diploma combined to 3 years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of Strong Working experience on any Life Insurance/Annuity Policy Admin
  • 5+ years of Experience with Quality Assurance processes
  • Domain Knowledge of Life Insurance Insurance/Annuity Business Processes
  • Degree in computer science or software engineering (an asset)
  • Experience with Actuarial testing of values would be a plus
  • Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information
  • Experience leading a team of quality assurance specialists
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
