Adding an
Accounting Senior Supervisor
to a team experiencing growth and elevation of talent. Fintech experience preferred, but not required. Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment needed. In office two days a week apart from first four days of close. Light management experience or a desire to manage required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support in revenue recognition processes, including period-ending close activities, journal entries, and accruals to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prompt response to provide additional support for preliminary month-end financial review and flux explanations at the request of management.
Assist in monitoring and enforcing internal controls, identifying control gaps, and recommending improvements to mitigate risk.
Coordinate with other team members within our department to ensure accuracy of the financial account balances.
Partner with and liaison with other departments on analyzing financial balances, problem resolution, and strategic business initiatives.
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests related to revenue, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Mentor and develop staff with collaborative approach establishing accountabilities, objectives, priorities, and monitoring/evaluating results.
Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
