Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

Northern New Jersey Center for Advanced Endoscopy (NNJC), a GI Ambulatory
Surgical Center in Englewood Cliffs, NJ has an exciting opportunity for a full time
Patient Service Coordinator to join their team

5 days per week/ 8 hours per day.Hours: 6am-2:30pm

What you will be working on:


Register and greet patients and answer multiple phone lines
Schedule procedures
Verify Insurance
Prepare charts
Knowledge of billing, invoicing and medical records
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and prioritize
Other administrative duties as assigned
What you'll know:
A successful applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States
without sponsorship
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting
Knowledge of EMR and medical terminology, including CPT codes, ICD-10 codes,
patient registration, charge entry functions or other billing related experience is
preferred
Scheduling software experience preferred
Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite of products
Strong written and oral communication skills
Must be a team-player with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

Experience:

Medical office: 1 year (Preferred)

EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred)

USD $20.00/Hr.

Max:
USD $24.00/Hr.
