Key Responsibilities:

The Northern New Jersey Center for Advanced Endoscopy, a GI Ambulatory Surgical Center, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Patient Service Coordinator.

Work Schedule:
5 days per week, 8 hours per day - Hours: 6am-2:30pm

Primary Duties:

  • Register and welcome patients while managing multiple phone lines.
  • Schedule medical procedures efficiently.
  • Verify patient insurance information.
  • Prepare patient charts accurately.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of billing, invoicing, and medical records.
  • Exhibit the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:
A successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Required qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology, including CPT and ICD-10 codes, patient registration, and charge entry functions is preferred.
  • Experience with scheduling software is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent multitasking and interpersonal abilities.

Experience Required:
Medical office: 1 year (Preferred)
EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred)

Compensation:
Min: USD $19.00/Hr.
Max: USD $23.00/Hr.
