- Clinical Decision Making: Use critical thinking skills to make sound clinical decisions, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare teams on various aspects of patient care, including disease management, medication administration, and wound care.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 2 years of experience in the Operating Room.
- Certifications: Current RN licensure in New York State; certification in specialty or related area preferred.
