The Clinical Intake Specialist will act as the first point of contact for clients entering services at NorthSight Recovery. The Clinical Intake Specialist will orient the client to programming, complete consents and releases of information, complete comprehensive evaluation and social need screening measure, administer self-report measures, create initial treatment plans, and communicate immediate needs to the clinical team. Job Responsibilities include: Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with behavioral health conditions, including psychiatric and mental health disorders, substance use issues, and co-occurring social determinant of health needs. Collect and analyze relevant information, including medical history, social background, and current symptoms, to form a comprehensive understanding of each client's needs. Utilize standardized assessment tools to evaluate the severity of symptoms and functional impairment. Develop initial Individual Service Plans. Communicate risk factors and needs to the clinical team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in behavioral health assessment and treatment. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct, including maintaining client confidentiality and respecting cultural and individual differences. Demonstrate an understanding of and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Other related duties as assigned. Position Qualifications Minimum of two years’ experience in the behavioral health field. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology tools for documentation and communication. Experience performing comprehensive assessments. Excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but will consider a combination of relevant experience in lieu. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
