Clinical Training Specialist

As a Clinical Training Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating technical training for clinic associates. This individual will organize and deliver technical training, schedule upcoming training opportunities, track training metrics and ensure adherence to training procedures. Additionally, this role will continue to have responsibility for performing clinical conduct. This position requires clinical conduct experience, past experience with providing training and the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends.

Qualification

    • Post high school education in life sciences or medical training preferred
    • At least 6 months of internal experience preferred
    • Must be able to handle multiple priorities
    • Effective written and verbal communication
    • Organizational skills
    • Experience working in a medical environment preferred
Essential Functions
    • May be responsible for staff management in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
    • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; development and coaching of employees
    • Organize and deliver necessary training for individual associates upon hire
    • Schedule opportunity for continued training of associates
    • Provide training materials and informational support as necessary
    • Ensure adherence to training procedures are followed
    • Communicate and promote training opportunities and requirements
    • Monitor attendance of training
    • Track individual associate training quality metrics to ensure progress and completion
    • Interact with new associates and managers to determine training approaches
    • Redirect training when necessary to address areas of opportunity
    • Design and deliver study specific training as required
    • Maintain training materials and records
    • Attend required site and global meetings, reporting on associates' performance and progress through training
    • Train and perform all technical functions according to Standard Operating Procedures, training plans and study specifications
