We are looking for a Catering and Events Manager who is passionate about hospitality and has proven hospitality sales experience.

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and objectives
  • Plan and execute details of events, including weddings, corporate functions, private parties, and community events
  • Coordinate with various departments (front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure seamless event execution
  • Select and manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee delivery of services
  • Develop event timelines and schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Ensure all events reflect the high standards and unique atmosphere of our beautiful historic downtown hotel
  • Proactively handle any issues or concerns that arise during events, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Anticipate guest needs and preferences, providing personalized service to enhance their experience
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring events are profitable and within budgetary guidelines
  • Assist with marketing efforts to promote event spaces and packages
  • Participate in site visits and tours for prospective clients
  • Support the sales team in generating new business and cultivating client relationships
  • Maintain accurate records of all events, including attendance, expenses, and client feedback
  • Prepare post-event evaluations and reports to analyze event success and identify areas for improvement

This position with work Tuesday through Saturday.

Prior experience in hotel sales, as well as, Hilton experience a plus
