Catering Server

The Catering Server plays a vital role in ensuring positive guest interactions while serving in a friendly and efficient manner. This position is crucial for providing guests with exceptional experiences. Catering Servers are expected to be attentive to guests' needs, ensuring they feel welcomed, comfortable, valued, and relaxed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized service and meticulous attention to detail that surpasses guest expectations.
  • Adhere to Legends Service Standards, which include:
    • Greet guests promptly upon their arrival.
    • Take beverage orders within a timely manner.
    • Accurately input orders into the Point of Sales system.
    • Serve beverages promptly after order placement.
    • Recommend menu items and take food orders.
    • Ensure timely delivery of food orders.
    • Conduct follow-up checks to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Maintain table cleanliness and organization.
    • Check back for additional drink orders.
    • Present bills and process payments efficiently.
  • Complete all assigned opening, closing, and side work tasks.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings in the designated area.
  • Comply with responsible alcohol service guidelines as mandated by Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as company standards.
  • Follow all Legends Uniform and Grooming policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues to ensure adherence to service standards.
  • Basic understanding of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Capacity to multitask in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Must obtain food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications.
  • Exhibit excellent guest service skills.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks, including reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 25lbs may be required.
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Experience of two to three years in a fast-paced, high-end club or restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Availability for all scheduled events is essential.
  • Commitment to practicing safe work habits and following all safety policies and procedures.
