You will be involved with the financial close, assist in the preparation of quarterly SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.), and have the opportunity to recommend continuous improvement ideas. You Will Make an Impact By: Assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including footnotes, MD&A, and XBRL requirements. Assisting with preparing a full set of financial statements and schedules for earnings calls. Researching technical accounting issues, including accounting standards and documenting conclusions. Supporting external and internal auditors for schedule requests and internal control testing. Assisting with the annual goodwill impairment analysis. Participating in other management projects and ad hoc reporting as needed. Skills You Bring: Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of experience (some public accounting experience preferred). Experience and ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment. Critical thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data drawn from multiple sources to find problems and make effective recommendations. Excellent organization and analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and with all levels of management throughout the organization. Preferred Skills: Public Accounting background desirable. CPA preferred. Experience/Knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise/HFM, Oracle/SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Prior experience working in an external financial reporting role is a plus.
