Position Overview:
This position features a hybrid work arrangement, with three days in the office and two days working remotely. You will report directly to the Vice President of Finance, playing a crucial role in our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations.
  • Maintain accurate billing and tracking for all revenue sources.
  • Facilitate month-end closing processes, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded.
  • Review and analyze financial reports, including ledgers, bank reconciliations, and profit and loss statements.
  • Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks and Sage Intacct for transaction management.
  • Assist in audit preparations and tax return submissions, along with other financial reporting duties.
  • Supervise a team of four accounting professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • Familiarity with non-profit accounting standards and payroll regulations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of UFR reporting is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles, budgeting, and recordkeeping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and lead a team.
  • High standards of accuracy and efficiency, particularly in multitasking environments.
