About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues of moderate to high complexity, including hardware and operating system integration.
- Install and configure hardware and operating systems to meet business requirements.
- Develop and document technical solutions to a variety of problems.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with occasional extended hours to ensure system availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Typically, a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or 6 years of directly related experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience in virtual computing methods, such as VMware vCenter, vSphere, and VDI.
- Ability to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements within 6 months of start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, and/or DoD/RMF.
- In-depth working experience in Windows Servers.
- Experience with data storage solutions.
- Experience with using Information Technology project lifecycle management processes.
- Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
- Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
- Experience hardening systems using tools like SCAP and following STIGs.
- Experience with Enterprise Active Directory (AD) & LDAP.
- Scripting Experience.
