Position Overview:
The Senior Staff Accountant will engage in comprehensive accounting processes, oversee contract management, and support the preparation of various reports, job cost evaluations, internal and external audits, as well as the preparation of federal and state tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and actively advocate for all Safety protocols and procedures, including the reporting of any accidents, incidents, and near-misses to uphold our foremost Core Value - Safety first in all operations.

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management - handling transaction entries, reporting, and analysis.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management.
  • Fixed Asset Management - overseeing acquisition, disposal, depreciation, rate analysis, and maintaining databases for equipment tracking.
  • General Ledger Management.

Job Cost Evaluation:

  • Equipment - analyze equipment usage, conduct data analysis, and generate monthly management reports along with ad hoc reports as required.
  • Labor/Materials/Others - perform evaluations as issues arise.
  • Prepare job cost reports upon request.

Contract Management:

  • Manage documentation and project setup within the ERP system.
  • Oversee Owner Payment Application processes.
  • Administer subcontractor agreements.
  • Manage Joint Venture billing and costs.
  • Facilitate extensive coordination and communication with project teams to achieve the aforementioned tasks.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Preferred) or Business Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed asset management.
  • Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Experience in Financial Analysis is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Viewpoint software is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel applications.
  • Strong computer and ERP system skills.
