Your Role and Responsibilities An IBM Cloud SME Architect role involves developing, designing and deploying on IBM Cloud with solutions that meet our Public Market client needs. Skills in Cloud infrastructure to support compute, storage, networking, and application requirements are necessary to build the foundation of modernized cloud computing platform. In this role you will work with software developments teams to implement cloud based solutions with a focus on security and compliance that keeps up with new trends in the market. Creating and maintaining new documentation for cloud implementation will be key to bring to other accounts in the North America markets.

In this role you will... Work closely with Public Market Technical leadership in helping to shape IBM Cloud strategy, engage directly with sellers, tech sellers and clients on architecture design frameworks, design thinking, and doing whatever else necessary to 10x this business (which we will).

This team is positioned for extreme success for 2024. The ideal candidate will be the rocket fuel that takes this business into the stratosphere.

This candidate will also have a strong desire/aspiration for the Distinguished Engineer track and will participate in a defined curriculum that outlines required certifications to level up to DE and beyond.
