Global Social Media Manager

has an uncanny ability to sniff out a great headline, deliver big ideas on tight deadlines, and understand what resonates with our community. The role is responsible for leading the charge on tightly integrated social, influencer, and PR strategies and campaigns that drive buzz and engagement. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will partner closely with our brand marketing team and creative team on developing a differentiated brand platform and creating a strategy that will be implemented across earned media channels. As our Global Social Media Manager you will lead a team that is collectively responsible for: creating a global media presence for the 7 FAM brand and stores; building communities for our best customers and most loyal fans; activating a robust influencer program; creating buzzworthy brand campaigns and moments; and appearing in her digital newsstand/newsfeed. As a manager on the marketing team, you will work cross functionally with the Creative, Marketing, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Customer Service, and Performance Marketing teams to create tightly integrated campaigns. Your creativity, strategic thinking, and passion for social media will be essential in building brand awareness and fostering meaningful connections with our audience. What you'll do... · Develop and oversee a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the 7FAM brand values and objectives. Continuously evaluate and adapt the strategy to stay ahead in the ever-evolving digital landscape. · Lead the creation of visually stunning and compelling content, including photos, videos, and graphics, for use across our social media channels, website, and other digital platforms. · Manage and optimize our presence on various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter. Stay up-to-date with platform updates and trends to maximize engagement. · Foster and nurture relationships with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and feedback promptly. Encourage user-generated content and meaningful interactions. · Develop and maintain a content calendar that ensures a consistent and cohesive brand presence across all digital platforms. · Partner with 7FAM Art Director to oversee the direction and approval of social photography, graphic assets, and copy. · Manage a robust brand influencer program, identifying key influencer partners, negotiating contracts and managing their content deliverables · Shoot and edit video content under leadership of Creative Director · This content includes, but is not limited to social posts, ideating, videos, animated gifs, long format videos and all other social media creative · Sound editing for original audio for social media · Keep up with latest fashion trends and video editing techniques Work in collaboration with 7 For All Mankind senior leadership and Marketing Team in executing a social media strategy to engage with followers and grow our digital community. · Remain up-to-date on current and emerging social, lifestyle and fashion trends; continually provide research results to facilitate the identification of engagement opportunities and innovations · Maintain a thorough knowledge of trends and developments and best practices in platforms, and technology (video editing and audio) · Ideate, create and execute fresh social media content in our brand voice that aligns with creative direction and supports the brand vision · Generate and present ideas that push boundaries; discuss with the team, adapting when necessary to move the idea to the next level, along with taking ownership of moving the process from concept to execution · Generate ideas for improving on current and developing new ways to market content through social media · Use social listening, measurement, and insights to optimize executions. · Be the social media evangelist and center of excellence at 7FAM. Qualifications · BA/BS degree · Have 5-7 years in a brand marketing role and proven experience with big idea creative thinking - along with effective project and resource management skills. · Have experience overseeing direct reports, budgets, and agencies. · Have a strong and elevated aesthetic and an understanding of luxury brands and product knowledge. · Have hands-on experience operating key social and content platforms for a brand, including community management and social care. · Have experience with social content strategy, managing complex editorial calendars, and content production processes. · Can extract insights and optimize executions based on social media listening and analytics. · Have experience leading an influencer marketing program. · Have a community and customer service-oriented mindset. · Have experience procuring, setting up, and using social media platforms and technology. · Have a culturally relevant perspective on current events and style; are able to translate that into meaningful dialogue. · Are able to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment where your work directly impacts the creation of the brand and the performance of the business. · Be willing to be on call off hours to escalate potential social media crises or chatter.
