The agency is dedicated to addressing the social media, short-form content, and influencer marketing requirements of artists and labels by offering comprehensive management of fan accounts, creator initiatives, content production, and data collection.

Position Overview

The agency is in search of a Manager to oversee projects for the label's artists, its distributed roster, and selected client artists. The Manager will play a vital role in establishing essential processes for the agency division; personally orchestrate artist campaigns; develop and manage fan accounts; create and distribute social media content; select, engage, and supervise influencers; manage project budgets; conduct data collection; and analyze, report, and provide insights based on campaign performance.

This full-time position reports directly to the owners of the parent company and the Director of the agency, with a base of operations in one of the parent company's offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the owners and the digital team at the label and the Director at the agency to establish processes for effective project and campaign management.
  • Execute social and community initiatives and campaigns that align with the creative and strategic objectives of artists, while driving audience growth.
  • Build and utilize a network of third-party creators and influencers to enhance engagement and conversion in artist campaigns.
  • Provide asset creation services, including shooting/editing, creative content ideation, and trend analysis, while developing posting strategies and personally pitching and executing ideas.
  • Oversee in-house TikTok Fan Accounts and develop unique, captivating formats, as well as utilize existing successful formats.
  • Manage creator campaigns aimed at converting audiences to streaming platforms, focusing on fostering long-term artist careers rather than transient moments.
  • Supervise genre-specific accounts (Indie, Alternative Rock, R&B, Electronic) and identify current and potential trends for artists, demonstrating a solid understanding of these genres.
  • Acquire and manage artist and fan data, drive ticket and merchandise sales, and assess ROI.
  • Effectively adapt tone and voice for each fan account and artist campaign.
  • Provide ongoing real-time data and analysis to guide decision-making throughout campaigns.
  • Contribute to the growth of the division in response to business demands.
  • Adapt to changing responsibilities as business or market conditions evolve.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in digital marketing, including asset creation for TikTok, Reels, and other social and short-form formats, campaign management, and both paid and organic social media, preferably at an agency focused on musical artist marketing campaigns.
  • A genuine passion for hands-on content creation and posting.
  • Strong enthusiasm for music, particularly in the indie/alternative, electronic, and indie R&B genres.
  • Experience in managing artist campaigns.
  • Extensive knowledge of TikTok and social media platforms.
  • Solid understanding of social media platform data and metrics.
  • Ability to translate engagement on social platforms into consumption on music streaming platforms, and to evaluate ROI on related expenditures.
  • Capability to lead a team of third-party creators and content editors while collaborating with in-house social/community staff.
  • Process-oriented with strong analytical skills in social media marketing.
  • Resourceful, with high integrity, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while aligning with the overall vision of the owners and the artistic vision of each campaign.

Compensation

A competitive salary, along with incentives and benefits, will be provided, commensurate with the role and the final candidate's experience. The anticipated base salary range is between $75K and $90K, depending on the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, network, and location.
