Amazon Sales Manager

The Amazon Sales Manager manages and owns the E-Commerce Business of the KT brand. Primary focus will be Amazon, with potential to manage other ecommerce marketplaces. In this role, you will report directly to the EVP of Sales and collaborate with marketing, operations, finance, and sales to develop the E-Commerce channel strategy.

You will work with cross functional teams and partner agencies to develop tactical plans and turn this vision into reality. Your responsibilities include growing and optimizing the KT brand product portfolio with specific revenue goals and strategic ad plans for the platform.

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the Amazon while accelerating profitable growth. Owning Amazon product forecasts, ad strategy, product pricing, product assortment and profitability. Managing external partner agencies and retail E-Commerce teams and drive overall portfolio growth. The primary focus is North America E-commerce marketplaces with some limited international markets.

Who you are.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with proven experience leading Amazon for a consumer package goods brand(s). Experience in both planning and executing sales plans for Amazon + E-commerce channels, driving both brand and product portfolio. A passion for delivering amazing customer experiences and connecting brand strategy to Amazon strategy. Leading with an entrepreneurial mindset - with the passion and experience to derive consumer insights into action in a category leading brand.

What you will be doing
  • Successfully take the brand strategy and help implement key goals and messaging within Amazon for a successful campaign that is built with performance indicators for success.
  • Partner and collaborate with Amazon agency to manage the ad and merchandising strategy for all products sold on amazon (to include product selection).
  • Track and report on campaign results to executive/leadership team.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of Amazon account including AMS, A+ page listings, New Products, Promotions, and other business building initiatives.
  • Budget ownership and overall account management of any identified Amazon agencies.
  • Partner and collaborate with retail sales, partner dot.com sales, marketplace online sellers, and other channel sales to reduce channel marketing and pricing conflicts.
  • Participate in formulation of short term and long-range planning regarding market share and product mix. Recommend and monitor sales and profit plans, goals, and quotes.
  • Analyze industry market trends, products, and pricing that may impact sales efforts.
  • Review and analyze monthly sales statistics.
  • Oversee Brand Control and collaborate with partner law firm to conduct and remove 3rd party unauthorized sellers
  • Conduct monthly performance review in collaboration with partner agency with Executive Leadership Team to go over health of the channel and updates on strategic plan
  • Establish metrics to determine long term plan to leverage both large existing Vendor Central (1P) business and emerging Seller Central (3P) business on Amazon.
What we expect from you
  • 4+ years of extensive experience and proliferation on both 1P (Vendor Direct) and 3P (Marketplace) selling platforms on Amazon. Strong foundational knowledge of both selling platforms, tools, portals, and management systems for both direct and indirect selling platforms on Amazon.
    • Experience with analyzing and interpreting Amazon advertising data-ability to recognize patterns, interpret data, and make long term strategic and thoughtful recommendations.
  • Experience analyzing search term reports, manage 3rd party agencies, work collaboratively with a team of awesome people.
  • Experience creating and managing lower funnel eCommerce campaigns
  • Proven ability to enhance digital shelf through SEO tactics and content optimization
  • Budget ownership and account management of agencies
  • Business degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Consumer packaged goods experience required.
