International Sales Manager

The International Sales Manager will lead and manage our International Distributors for all products under the KT brand umbrella. They will be a subject matter field sales expert & advocate for meeting and/or exceeding financial performance vs objectives. This position works independently and reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Sales.

You own 6 key priority verticals as the business / account owner.

  • International Distributor Management
  • Business Account Planning, Strategy and Development
  • New business development with key customers through our Distributor Network
  • Training and development of Distributor reps relative to KT Brand and Products, Policies and Programs
  • Customer/Account collaboration, communication & relationship management
  • Implementation & Execution of all plans, priorities, and KT Brand Principles

Drive Excellence in Account / Business B2B Management

The ideal candidate is multi-faceted, detail oriented, digitally savvy, and has a strong understanding of the Distributor Model in International Markets. They are motivated to win, highly creative, accountable for results, driven and passionate about KT products that work and help active/athletic consumers prepare, perform and recover. This candidate thinks and engages in a constantly changing world to learn ongoing, execute well, seek to understand, and pivot as needed.

What you will be doing

  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals for Distributor Partners, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance.
  • Propose, plan, develop and lead execution of all short & long-term customer sales strategies. Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions meet them
  • Monitor and report your territory & strategic account financial performance.
  • Own relationships with International Distributors from a balanced strategic & tactical standpoint
  • Represent the KT Brand with a comprehensive understanding of our products.
  • Manage and execute day-to-day task including but not limited to distributor RFIs, working with internal teams for creative and operational requests, and performing administrative tasks for each account as needed
  • Build and nurture Distributor Brand Manager and Leadership relationships.
  • Own and manage multiple strategic projects and work collaboratively across the organization as needed.
  • Sales forecasting accuracy with Distributors and demand planning team
  • Financial Acumen - Distributor Pricing Model, Investment Strategy, management effectiveness, and evaluation to maximize net sales.
  • Work collaboratively with Distributors Leadership, Sales Reps, KT Marketing, Operations and Finance Teams to maximize financial performance across International Markets.
  • Perform ongoing distributor profitability per platform to provide insights and recommendations for future activities to maximize return.
  • Analyze POS data to strategically craft plans, strategies and execution to win

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends global reach
  • Meet with Distributors and retail customers to build distribution and expand the presence of the KT Brand.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews with the Executive Leadership Team
  • Identify knowledge and skill gaps within the Distributor Teams and develop a plan to improve their ability to drive sales revenue
  • Oversee distributor activities to ensure company expectations are met

What we expect from you

  • B.S. degree in business, marketing, or Business Administration
  • 5-10 years of CPG International sales in personal care, health & wellness preferred
  • Prior experience managing distributors in International Markets
  • Proven track record of growing sales through an International Distributor Network
  • Experience with Syndicated Data

  • Ability to travel at least 35% of the time
  • Strong Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills
