Establishes effective monitoring processes to manage all aspects of physician payments across the Physician Alignment Group. Trains others in department in optimal procedures. Leads month end projects and other special projects to support decision making. Executes month end close with finance team to prepare physician payment reconciliation and compensation records. Provides analytical support for variance analysis and senior management. Prepares and reviews financial statements, journal entries, and monthly account reconciliations. Performs monthly financial reporting, income statement analysis, and prepares various standard reports.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • MBA preferred
  • 3 years experience in healthcare industry in a finance related role, or 5 years of experience in a finance related role outside of the healthcare industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • VBA experience preferred.
  • Experience with Epic, Lawson, Epsi, Access, and business intelligence tools preferred

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
