Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective monitoring systems for physician payments within the Physician Alignment Group.
- Provide training to team members on optimal procedures.
- Lead month-end initiatives and special projects to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with the finance team to execute month-end close processes, ensuring accurate physician payment reconciliations and compensation records.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide analytical support to senior management.
- Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and monthly account reconciliations.
- Generate monthly financial reports, conduct income statement analyses, and prepare various standard reports.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance-related role within the healthcare sector, or 5 years of experience in a finance-related role outside of healthcare.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Experience with VBA is preferred.
- Familiarity with Epic, Lawson, Epsi, Access, and business intelligence tools is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require medium work, including the ability to exert/lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
