Position Overview:
In this role, you will leverage your unique talents and skills in a supportive team environment that values your contributions to a greater mission. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing effective monitoring systems to oversee all facets of physician compensation within the Physician Alignment Group.
  • Training departmental staff on optimal procedures and best practices.
  • Leading month-end projects and special initiatives to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to execute month-end closing processes, ensuring accurate physician payment reconciliations and compensation records.
  • Providing analytical support for variance analysis and senior management reporting.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, journal entries, and monthly account reconciliations.
  • Conducting monthly financial reporting and income statement analysis, along with generating various standard reports.

Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance-related role within the healthcare sector, or 5 years of experience in a finance-related position outside of healthcare.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Experience with VBA is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Epic, Lawson, Epsi, Access, and business intelligence tools is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:
This position may require medium work, including the ability to exert/lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
