The ideal candidate will leverage MxD’s existing assets, including a supportive consortium of industry and academic stakeholders and a unique manufacturing Future Factory Floor environment, to establish MxD as a provider of cybersecurity solutions for America’s manufacturers. The Lead Cybersecurity Engineer will design and execute internal and external facing cybersecurity initiatives. This role will report to the Director of Cybersecurity. + Position Responsibilities Act as MxD’s subject matter expert on cybersecurity, with a primary focus in OT. Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to address OT security needs in the industrial base and support business development efforts designed to secure funding for said opportunities. Create or contribute to cybersecurity content such as presentations, training materials, articles, blog posts, etc. Participate in and present at MxD and industry forums, webinars, and other venues related to cybersecurity for manufacturing and supply chain operations. Keep up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats and best practices. Support MxD and membership efforts to achieve compliance with standards, frameworks, and regulations. Support MxD Future Factory Floor tours as an OT security subject matter expert. Expertly employ the soft skills required to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders. Other duties, as assigned. + Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or 8

verifiable

years of direct experience in cybersecurity roles. 6+ years of experience working directly with operational or manufacturing technology. Demonstrated and professional experience with CMMC and NIST standards. OT security certifications are such as GICSP, CSSA preferred, not required. Superior verbal and written communication skills and comfortable with public speaking. Proven experience in project management.. Must be available for some travel and to work onsite on an as needed basis. Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.
