We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Team Lead to guide our growing team of cybersecurity professionals. As Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our cybersecurity operations. You will work closely with other departments to ensure the security of our clients' IT infrastructure and data. 

  

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity-related inquiries from clients, providing guidance and expertise to address their security concerns. 
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance our cybersecurity operations, including process improvements, technology upgrades, and training initiatives.  
  • Monitor and analyze security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities, and coordinate appropriate responses to mitigate risks.  
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cybersecurity team, including security monitoring, vulnerability management, and threat detection. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate cybersecurity best practices into our overall business operations.  
  • Stay informed about emerging cyber threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements, and ensure that our team is prepared to address them effectively.  
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with cybersecurity vendors and service providers to ensure the effectiveness of security solutions and services.
  • Facilitate cybersecurity training programs for employees and clients to raise awareness of security best practices and reduce security risks.
  • Mentor and act as an escalation point to a growing team of cybersecurity analysts and engineers to encourage professional development. 
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cybersecurity team, including security monitoring, vulnerability management, and threat detection. 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.   
  • 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with a proven track record of progressively increasing responsibility.  
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence.  
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.  
  • Experience with security operations tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence platforms.  
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.  
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.  
  • Experience working in a managed services environment is a plus.
