Role Responsibilities

This role involves collaborating closely with our Operational Technology Security Engineers to implement the network segmentation phase of the Securing the Factory Program. The individual will contribute to the architectural security designs for the network segmentation initiative and offer consulting services to business units seeking to integrate new operational technology into the network.

Key Duties

The selected candidate will:

  • Participate in daily meetings with the Operational Technology and network segmentation teams to receive real-time updates on the program.
  • Collaborate directly with Factory control engineers to advance network segmentation initiatives.
  • Assist in developing roadmaps for the program and ensure timely implementation of the technologies.
  • Contribute to architectural security designs for network segmentation and provide consulting for business unit requests.

Note: This position may require occasional non-standard hours (with prior notice), but will not exceed 40 hours per week. It is a fully remote role.

Team Interaction

The individual will be part of a US-based team comprising approximately 15 members and will engage with global internal business customers based on project needs.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, with short trips to project locations around the world expected 4-6 times a year.

Education & Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 10+ years of overall experience in IT roles.
  • A Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Networking, Manufacturing Engineering, or Information Security. An Associate's degree is also acceptable.
Technical Skills (Required)

The candidate should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in security, infrastructure, cloud security, endpoint security, or application security.
  • 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Networking, or Operational Technology.
  • 1+ years of experience with Visio.
  • The ability to assess technical solutions for cybersecurity risks and collaborate with customers to develop secure OT solutions.
Desired Qualifications

Preferred certifications include:

  • CISSP
  • CCSP
  • GPEN
  • GICSP

Project management skills are also advantageous.

Soft Skills (Required)

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Drive, accountability, and reliability.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • The ability to evaluate technical solutions for cybersecurity risks while working with customers to develop secure OT solutions.
Disqualifiers/Red Flags

The candidate must be willing to travel to project sites and maintain flexible working hours as necessary.
