Career Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our T-Solutions team. This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Chesapeake, VA, and offers a hybrid remote work schedule upon completion of initial training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively source candidates using referral networks, job boards, social and professional networks, and the existing Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS).
  • Utilize passive recruiting techniques and strategies to establish a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to our company culture and the ever-evolving job market.
  • Conduct thorough phone screens and/or interviews (video calls and in-person) to evaluate technical and soft skills, professional strengths, compensation expectations, and career goals.
  • Guide candidates through the selection and interview process, as well as the offer and onboarding process.
  • Continuously update job and candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Provides prompt and thorough feedback to candidates throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
  • Attend regular meetings to discuss active requisitions, candidates in the pipeline, and recruiting strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding contract requirements and qualifications to develop position descriptions and determine key requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

Travel

  • This position includes a low level of travel.

Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting, with an emphasis on Naval and/or Engineering
  • Prior experience working as a recruiter for a government contractor preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS365, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Proven track record of thinking ahead, anticipating challenges, and offering solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize workload.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must maintain the capability to communicate with their Supervisor and/or Manager when not in the office.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Reaching, handling, and using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices.
  • Lifting boxes (files and supplies) up to 20 lbs.
