Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting our company's networks, systems, and data from cybersecurity threats. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement security measures, monitor for security incidents, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and regulations. This role requires expertise in cybersecurity principles, risk management, and hands-on experience with security tools and technologies. Roles and Responsibilities: Security Implementation and Management: Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection. Configure and manage security infrastructure, such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems and vulnerability management tools. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.

Incident Response and Monitoring: Monitor security systems for anomalies and potential security incidents. Develop and execute incident response plans to address security breaches and cyberattacks promptly. Conduct post-incident analysis and implement measures to prevent future incidents.

Security Policy and Compliance: Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS). Conduct security awareness training and education programs for employees to promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices.

Threat Intelligence and Analysis: Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques. Perform threat hunting activities and analyze threat intelligence to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, incidents, and remediation actions. Prepare and present security reports and metrics to management and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer, Information Security Analyst, or similar role, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus software, encryption technologies, etc. Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) from a security perspective. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous. Proven experience in implementing cybersecurity solutions and managing security incidents in a corporate environment.
