  • Evaluate the environment to pinpoint potential risks for consideration by the broader team.
  • Analyze threat report findings and collaborate on sustainable solutions.
  • Monitor remediation efforts across developers, product owners, and business partners to ensure compliance with vulnerability management standards.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and adhere to Cisco and industry best practices.

Who You Are:

You are a proactive individual known for your consistency, thoroughness, and systematic approach to securing our platforms and services. You approach challenges with a logical mindset and thrive in a dynamic technical environment. Your eagerness to learn new tools and technologies that enhance security posture is evident.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in information security, emphasizing infrastructure, operating systems, and networking.
  • Experience in incident response and/or vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with cloud security measures and/or securing cloud environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as FedRAMP or other government-related standards.
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools, integrating security into CI/CD workflows.
  • Proficient understanding of web APIs from both security testing and development perspectives.
  • Experience with configuration management and automation tools (preferably Ansible and/or Terraform).
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Burp, ZAP, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Python (strongly preferred), bash, or other scripting languages for integration and automation.
  • Experience in automating security monitoring using tools like Prometheus, Splunk, DataDog, etc.
  • Expertise in securing, documenting, and ensuring compliance for FedRAMP environments.
  • Experience in deployment and security support for both cloud and virtual environments (AWS, vSphere, etc.).
  • Advanced degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications, including CCSP, CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.
