ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cybersecurity Systems Architect to become a vital member of the AMD Client Business Security technologies team.

As a significant contributor to AMD's product success, you will collaborate with a leading team to enhance AMD's capabilities in delivering top-quality, industry-leading technologies to the market.

The Systems Design Engineering team promotes and supports ongoing technical innovation, showcasing achievements while facilitating continuous career growth.

In this role, you will apply your analytical skills and knowledge of software and hardware to fulfill assigned tasks, requests, and projects effectively.


PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
As a Systems Architect, you will develop balanced, scalable, and automated solutions.

In this high-profile role, your expertise in software systems engineering will be crucial for product development, definition, and troubleshooting.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Foster technical innovation to enhance AMD's validation capabilities, including tool and script development, and improvements in technical and procedural methodologies.
- Diagnose issues encountered during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs.
- Collaborate with various teams and monitor test execution to ensure timely validation and optimization of all features.
- Work closely with supporting technical teams and engage in diverse software/hardware modeling frameworks.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and support of firmware testing and debugging environments.
- Design and implement software/firmware requirements to facilitate enhancements using C language.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proficient programming/scripting skills in C and/or C++.
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, and Python.
- Strong debugging techniques and methodologies.
- Extensive experience with standard lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- Comprehensive experience in board/platform-level debugging, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of system architecture, technical debugging, and validation strategies.


EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
