Job Overview

Binary Defense is in search of a skilled sales professional with a focus on external sales, ideally possessing experience in the cybersecurity sector, to expand our designated market area. The main objective of the Sales Executive is to secure new clientele.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation

  • Identify and qualify potential business opportunities through various channels including phone, email, and social media.
  • Leverage strategic alliances and existing clients for referrals and recommendations.
  • Conduct research to understand the needs of prospective companies and identify key decision-makers.
  • Participate in industry conferences, meetings, and networking events.

Business Development & Relationship Management

  • Establish and nurture long-term, trusted relationships with both current and prospective clients.
  • Engage with clients to ascertain their requirements for our products and services.
  • Present Binary Defense's offerings tailored to meet client needs.
  • Follow up with detailed emails summarizing meetings, proposed solutions, and actionable next steps.

Closing Sales

  • Understand the closing process within each organization, including access to key decision-makers.
  • Formulate negotiation strategies and positions.
  • Document next steps through follow-up communications, including anticipated timelines for signatures and project initiation.

Additional Duties

  • Qualify leads generated from marketing initiatives as viable sales opportunities.
  • Meet established quotas for outreach activities, including calls, emails, and documentation of events.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions to meet expectations.
  • Deliver high-quality engagement with both potential and existing clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with Security Engineers, Inside Sales, and leadership to support organizational goals for client acquisition and retention.
  • Keep an updated database of prospective and current client information.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding proposals.
  • Address questions from potential and current clients as necessary.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of Binary Defense's products/services and the cybersecurity landscape.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity sales roles, or over 10 years of extensive sales experience in a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in delivering product presentations to clients.
  • Proficient in current office software, particularly MS Office (PPT and Excel).
  • Adept at engaging in meaningful business discussions and aligning our value proposition with client needs.
  • Effectively utilize sales resources, including technology and marketing teams.
  • Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.
  • Capable of managing pressure while meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management capabilities.
