Job Description:

This role is responsible for assignments to contribute and/or manage efforts in the pipeline of current and prospective grant funding that align with the company’s carbon free technology strategy. Lead efforts through funding opportunity evaluations and pursuits. Support grant award negotiation and grant program-level status reporting; support award management, award compliance as needed.

Client is looking for a proactive and organized Project Coordinator (Level 2) to join our team. This role will support client’s grant pursuits by coordinating projects through the planning and application phases, from initial evaluation to submission of grant applications.

Responsibilities

  • Grant Opportunity Evaluation: Research and assess funding opportunities, maintaining a list of potential grants for company consideration.
  • Project Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate internal teams during the grant application process, ensuring timely submission of application materials.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including project managers and controls teams, to compile necessary application documents.
  • External Interaction: Interface with third-party vendors for information and support related to funding opportunities.
  • Technology Utilization: Use Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams, to manage project coordination tasks.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in project coordination or management.

  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Grant Experience: Familiarity with grant application processes and materials is highly preferred.
