Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event Assistant to support our Event Manager in planning and executing various events. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including conferences, workshops, corporate events, and social gatherings.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure all logistics are managed effectively.
- Coordinate event registration, attendee lists, and on-site check-in processes.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and maintaining event documentation.
- Assist in the creation of event budgets and track expenses to ensure events are executed within budget.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess event success and identify areas for improvement.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service to event participants.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Event Manager.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
