Our Eden Prairie, MN sales branch office is located 20 minutes Southwest of Minneapolis. The **Sales Branch Manager** will assign and direct all work performed and supervise all areas of operation in our Phoenix office. This position has two primary areas of emphasis. First, it focuses on building and maintaining new strategic business partnerships within the region. Second, you will ensure that our branch staff is capable of executing to targeted sales strategies to enhance margins and increase ways that our customers can benefit from Master Electronics service and/or product offerings.

**How you will spend your time as Sales Branch Manager:**

* Meets and/or exceeds assigned sales revenue and gross profit targets via effective management of Inside and Outside Sales Representatives

* Demonstrates effective people leadership for the branch sales team by assisting them in the development and management of their business relationships to provide alternative product/service solutions to exceed customer expectations, follow up on orders, and solve client-related problems

* Strengthens relationships with suppliers as a means of introducing new and innovative options that enable the sales branch office to exceed customers needs

* Understands key accounts and develops strategies to enable the Branch Sales Team to enhance the level of service to these customers

* Networks to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company by differentiating the branch's ability to provide superior service and support versus our competitors

* Provides communication and follow up to ensure that all branch employees are fully informed of all new information related to products, procedures, customer needs, and company related issues, changes or actions

* Assess the competitive landscape in the assigned geographic territory and provide reports on market movement and penetration

* Identifies training needs and coordinates training, ensuring each employee has the skills, training, equipment, and tools necessary to provide a world-class level of service

* Creates and maintains the appropriate workplace culture and ensures that all facets (e.g., onboarding, compensation, communication channels, recognition & rewards, etc.) reinforce the appropriate job-related behaviors that enable business and customer success

* Manages and documents employee issues regarding attendance, performance, conduct, and delivers appropriate corrective action as needed

* Provides status reports to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis as requested

* 2+ years job-related experience in leading sales team with a proven track record of consistent revenue growth; career experience should include being compensated via a structured commission plan based on pre-established sales, revenue, and/or profit targets

* Ability to successfully leverage desktop technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, etc.) and proprietary systems (e.g., ACD tools, order entry software, warehouse management systems, etc.) in the performance of job responsibilities

* Track record of successfully managing a business with a variety of client needs and expectations in an efficient and cost-effective manner

* Proven analytical, problem-solving, problem management, and conceptual skills, including the ability to make valid conclusions from assessing operational and financial data

* Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and establish staffing plans to create highly-satisfied customer outcomes

* Ability to work well in time-sensitive situations where customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal

* Demonstrated ability to provide best-in-class service to customers that also meet the business and operational objectives of the company

* Highly effective presentation skills, including professional demeanor, artful negotiation skills, and outstanding interpersonal skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and, in particular, the ability to craft professional e-mails and client-related documents

* Team-oriented operating style with effective interpersonal skills that allow successful business interactions with individuals of a variety of work styles, personalities, and career levels

**We would prefer you have**

* Previous work experience in an environment involving electronic/electrical component products

* Strong technical literacy (e.g., understanding of basic electronic/electrical components)
