Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range ($45,000-$75,000 average annual earnings)

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Promote additional services and pest control solutions to clients through various outreach methods, including cold-calling and warm leads.
  • Innovatively seek new sales opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify pest infestations and conditions conducive to pest issues, and prepare proposals to secure sales contracts.
  • Manage sales leads within your designated branch and creatively develop additional service opportunities.
  • Prepare job specifications and treatment instructions in compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
  • Execute contracts on behalf of the company, adhering to company policies regarding sales terms and payment options.
  • Oversee collection efforts on overdue accounts related to personal sales contracts.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and identify further sales prospects.
  • Report any unusual customer inquiries or safety incidents to your supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain a company vehicle and ensure all equipment is kept in clean and operational condition, following company vehicle policies.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The physical requirements for this position include:

  • Regularly sitting, talking, or listening.
  • Frequent walking and standing.
  • Using hands to handle objects and tools, reaching with arms, and performing physical tasks such as kneeling or crouching.
  • Lifting and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally over 50 pounds.
  • Vision capabilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The work environment may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures, including wet and humid conditions. The noise level is typically moderate.


Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 6-12 months of relevant experience in sales or customer service, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license meeting insurance requirements.
  • Availability to work Monday through Saturday, including some holidays.
  • Willingness to complete state-required training and obtain pest control licensing.
