Highland Electric Fleets is a comprehensive turnkey solutions provider that delivers electric school buses (EVSB) to school districts and third-party managed fleet providers (3PMs).
We offer a model involving financing, infrastructure, vehicle deployment, and maintenance in an easily digestible, economic format that enables EVSB acquisition at traditional diesel cost of ownership.
Our mission is to eliminate the barriers to better student health and cleaner air.
We aim to mitigate risk for our customers, increase EVSB market penetration, and deliver positive impacts across a broad spectrum of stakeholders: students, communities, school districts, fleet operators, manufacturers, and utilities.
The Senior Project Manager will lead the design and construction of EV charging infrastructure projects. The Senior Project Manager will focus on complex and key national customer account projects. They may lead projects with the support of certain project managers and assistant project managers. The role will report directly to the Director, Project Execution. This role is remotely based with a 25%-30% travel expectation.
Responsibilities:
Deliver EV charger infrastructure project on time and on budget
Own strategic account project management duties
Manage the most complex projects and account for implementation of new technologies
Lead project teams and coach team membersSupport Customer Success Team in the delivery excellent project experiences
Select and manage consultants and contractors through project delivery
Negotiate and administer project-based subcontractor agreements
Coordinate with utilities for service upgrades and interconnection scopes of work
Support submission of all project permitting requirements
Establish and maintain project cost forecasts and actuals
Develop and drive detailed project schedules
Ensure compliance with all project and customer requirements
Collaborate with consultants, contractors and peers to solve unique challenges
Desired Qualifications
6+ years office based professional experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years office based professional experience
3+ years direct project management experience, preferably electrical or civil
1+ years EV charging infrastructure delivery experience
Renewable energy project experience (solar, storage, microgrid) preferred
