Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-construction tasks such as estimating, bid evaluation, value engineering, and project scheduling.
  • Perform thorough assessments of project plans and specifications, focusing on scope, timelines, budgets, and resource distribution.
  • Evaluate site conditions and develop logistical strategies before project initiation.
  • Track and report on project progress, making necessary adjustments to align with project goals.
  • Directly manage project personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with project superintendents on schedules, Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Review all subcontractor scopes of work to confirm adherence to project plans and contractual obligations.
  • Identify and manage potential cost implications resulting from changes, schedules, and subcontractor activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout all project activities.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction costs, estimating, procurement, and project scheduling.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation capabilities.
  • Professional, organized, and proactive with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Project; experience with ProCore is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, particularly in Tilt-up construction within the industrial sector.
