Coordinator, Grants Operations

This job description is not to be construed as a complete listing of the duties and responsibilities that may be given to any employee. The duties and responsibilities outlined in this position may be added to or changed when deemed appropriate and necessary by the person who is managerially responsible for this position.

Summary:

This position is responsible to coordinate all activities associated with the collection, verification, validation and submission of the data components associated with assigned grants that are currently distributed to Regional One Health. This coordinator also is responsible for documenting and submitting grant billing and receivables, all grant contracts and reviewing clinical quality measurements and support service costs to ensure that they meet the scope of the grant's requirements necessary to support patient outcomes.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management/Administration, Social Science or Human Services or equivalent experience and education.

Experience Requirement:

Two (2) years of progressive experience working with grant funded programs, preferably within a healthcare setting.

Licensure/Certification Requirement:

None

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Support activities associated with the collection, verification, validation, and submission of the data components associated with the assigned grant
  • Support monthly grant billing and invoice submission
  • Work collaboratively, cohesively, and professionally with clinical and non-clinical staff assigned to other grants within Regional One Health and the State of Tennessee with the goal of promoting comprehensive outpatient care for patients participating in grant programs
  • Regularly report an evaluation of clinical performance measures to the Quality Management Committee as required
  • Regularly participate in Quality Management Team activities including supporting the QM
  • Work collaboratively with the Quality Management Committee to review and implement Quality Management Plan activity including setting QM program goals, and implementing related QM work plan in compliance with grant requirements
  • Facilitate and conduct quarterly Quality Management Committee meetings in order to share clinical performance measures
  • Regularly attend data reporting and program advisory meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Data collection and interpretation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suites
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and provide meaningful and impactful presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team and to make independent judgments/decisions
  • Problem-solving skills required.
