Senior Grants and Financial Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration of grants and contracts from inception to conclusion, ensuring that all grant submissions are conducted accurately, managing the financial aspects of grants and subcontracts, formulating departmental guidelines, and coordinating various administrative functions. This role necessitates handling sensitive and confidential information with care.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is in search of a Senior Grants and Financial Operations Manager to deliver comprehensive grant management, financial supervision, and administrative assistance for the Center's array of grants and strategic initiatives, particularly the NCI-funded Cancer Center Support Grant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, experience collaborating with diverse teams, and proficiency in grant tracking and submission processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily administrative functions for the Cancer Center Support Grant.
  • Provide financial management, analysis, and budget development.
  • Facilitate the grant application workflow.
  • Prepare reports on external funding.
  • Assist in the development of applications for supplementary funding.
  • Manage the membership process for the cancer center.
  • Coordinate the limited submission process for funding opportunities.
  • Engage in NCI-sponsored webinars and national conferences.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years in financial administration.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with federal grants, budget formulation, and academic/medical settings.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is estimated between $78,000 and $139,360 annually.
