Working with cross-functional and IT teams, the Supply Chain Transformation Senior Manager will drive our global supply chain enhancement and transformation projects to successful completion, ensuring financial benefit and user satisfaction. In this role, you will report to the global supply chain director of performance & innovation. This position is a remote-telework role. US Citizenship is required. Principal Accountabilities Lead supply chain technology & process transformation initiatives with minimal oversight. Support the design, development, delivery, and management of system & process enhancement initiatives driven by leadership strategy. Analyze the impact on the business, including the stakeholders, policies and processes, of any digital technology project or initiative. Work with supply chain leadership to identify transformation opportunities and help develop a supply chain technology roadmap. Drive innovation identification and applicability that drives efficiencies and financial returns. Identification and planning of process optimization opportunities where technology can enable and drive process efficiencies. Be a change adoption ambassador and drive positive change engagement across supply chain and cross-functional teams. Provide functional subject matter expertise within procurement and ERP system integration and data harmonization engagements. Ability to build and communicate project ROI and benefit analysis to senior leadership. Assist in artificial intelligence and machine learning use case development that will drive supply chain system future strategy opportunities. Responsible for Procurement COE IT systems projects, providing technical and operational expertise on system design and conversion, process engineering and optimization, continuous process improvement, database maintenance, data field maintenance, automated controls and metrics, compliance, organized document storage/filing, workflow, reporting, maintaining a data repository, and maintaining standards for processes & procedures. Responsible for the management of the Procurement Enterprise system including configuration, technical documentation, security, monitoring and metrics reporting, and the direct management of staff supporting these areas. Utilizes lean process and technology to refine and streamline Procurement organization, transforming practices to more effective and efficient business solutions. Leads a multi-disciplined team in development and mapping of IT Business process solutions; Interact within and between COEs and other stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs and vision, document requirements, and translate into system requirement specifications. Provides oversight and management of all procurement business system controls, audits, and compliance to ensure automation of sustainment of business processes supporting Amentum business system objectives. Responsible for the development of system-wide procurement information tools, ensuring satisfaction of COE, company, and internal customer objectives. Develops and implements streamlined and efficient solutions for SharePoint, leveraging analytic tools to provide meaningful data and reports for utilization by Procurement and other stakeholders. Remains abreast of regulatory and reporting requirements and manages the process for updating enhancing the Procurement COEs applications to meet these requirements. Benchmarks and analyzes monitoring reports and makes recommendations of improvements to IT system and manual processes. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of various computer programs/languages including SQL and IT business systems as required. Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Business Intelligence, PerformancePoint analytics, SQL Server including SSAS/SSIS/SSRS. Expertise in database design, data marts, designing workflows, querying, tracking, and reporting. Ability to apply knowledge of detailed specifications from which programs will be written to assist in managing, enhancing system functionality and reporting. Broad knowledge of advanced concepts of business systems analysis processes and procedures. Excellent systems analysis and design skills with full development life cycle experience. Ability to customize, configure, and administer SharePoint, including developing InfoPath Form solutions for SharePoint. Ability to successfully implement SharePoint Portal Server solutions. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and objectives. Exhibits creative thinking with the ability to act as a change agent. Excellent oral and written communications. Effective leadership and interpersonal skills. Good decision-making skills, with the ability to consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Cross-functional team engagement experience. Experience in briefing projects and initiatives to senior leadership. Self-starter with minimal supervision to manage tasks. Data integration experience to include data mapping from source to target databases. SQL server experience to include complex data query and reporting. Experience & Education Typically, twelve (12) years of experience in a combination of IT business systems, business analysis methodology, and enterprise-wide application development life cycle; experience with Procurement or Materials Management Information systems preferred. Supply chain transformation project experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an associated discipline. 8 years of experience required with an advanced degree. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of the degree requirement. Three (3) years of experience managing teams or in a management role is required. Five (5) years of experience with four or more of the following technologies: Working knowledge of inventory management solutions including IBM Maximo. Configuration and design development experience with eBusiness solutions such as Microsoft 365 professional suite (power BI, power automate, power apps). US Citizenship is required. Extensive experience with ERP and procurement software to include data structure, configuration management and system controls. Deltek Costpoint a plus.
