The Innovative Medicine SCT North America Distribution Technical Product Owner (TPO) is primarily responsible for maximizing the value delivered to Americas Distribution customers, users and the company. As a member of the extended Product Management function, the TPO will be the team's primary customer advocate and primary link to business and technology strategy.

The TPO will collaborate with senior business and technology leaders to identify, prioritize and deliver solutions, in line with our supply chain strategy. The role will focus primarily on delivering capabilities on behalf of the US distribution business, operating distribution centers out of NJ and KY. This individual will require a strong leadership pedigree, along with robust business and technical acumen, to drive measurable value aligned to our product vision and roadmap. By implementing user-centric, industry leading strategies in the areas of design and rapid prototyping, we will deliver technology solutions with speed and agility, to meet the needs of the customers and patients we serve. Driving a culture of innovation, with a focus on developing talent, will be critical to ensure team members are in tune with emerging industry and technology trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the Americas Distribution product vision, strategy and roadmap guiding solution implementation.
  • Serve as the Product Owner for the product squad/team, whose primary mission is to deliver integrated distribution functionality in support of JNJ's ERP migration to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Act as the "voice of the customer" to ensure that the team is building the right capabilities, at the right time and delivering desirable, viable, feasible and sustainable solutions, in support of the Americas Distribution business.
  • Manage, refine and prioritize the Team Backlog; guiding story creation and ensuring the appropriate degree of readiness required to facilitate a consistent flow of work facilitating smooth implementation
  • Ensure consistent alignment of the Team Backlog needs of our customers and stakeholders
  • Promote appropriate software delivery practices which enable high-quality technology solution delivery, aligned to the business' Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
  • Empower teams to be self-directed, working together to achieve squad goals.
  • Collaborate with Product Management across adjacent squads, within the Agile Release Train, to deliver against program PI objectives

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other relevant field

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology
  • At least 2 years experience in a Product Management role
  • Proficiency in end-to-end supply chain processes with an understanding of Distribution/Logistics and Warehouse Management processes.
  • Supply Chain Technology experience
  • Experience building API-based system integrations
  • Proven ability to deliver complex solutions applying Agile delivery methodologies
  • Self-motivated leader that can build highly effective, collaborative teams that deliver measurable value.
  • Strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with business partners to understand business requirements.
  • Strong leadership experience in building highly effective, collaborative teams with proven track record of successful delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability of accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Preferred:

  • Certified Product Owner
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems such as Blue Yonder
  • Experience operating in the Scaled Agile framework (SAFe)
  • Solid grasp of ERP systems; S/4 HANA is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Mulesoft

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $170,200.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
