Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Homestead Resort. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient check-ins and check-outs, and a positive experience for all guests and team members. The ideal candidate will have previous hotel front desk experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train front desk agents to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
  • Oversee the check-in and check-out process, including resolving guest issues and ensuring accurate billing.
  • Monitor daily arrivals, departures, room assignments, and special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions for front desk staff.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and events to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of guest accounts and room status reports.
  • Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new front desk team members.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations and reservation systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Opera.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
