Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of check-in and check-out protocols.
  • Address various guest inquiries and situations effectively.
  • Manage and modify reservations as needed.
  • Oversee guest room inventory and ensure accuracy.
  • Utilize all front desk systems proficiently.
  • Provide information about the hotel and its amenities to guests.
  • Train and mentor new front desk staff.
  • Disseminate relevant information to team members.
  • Stay informed about local attractions and hotel services.
  • Understand the Wyndham Rewards program.
  • Lead front desk operations in the absence of management.
  • Ensure adherence to front office procedures and checklists.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a front desk role is preferred.
  • Experience with cash handling is essential.
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • General knowledge of the hospitality industry.
  • Exhibit a positive and empathetic attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

This position includes a sign-on bonus, payable after a specified period of continuous employment.

The hotel operates 24/7, and staff may be required to adjust their schedules to meet business needs.
