Our Client is seeking a talented and experienced Control Systems Manager to join their team. You will oversee the support for our 24/7 production operation, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new control systems while overseeing the maintenance and modification of existing systems.
- Manage the support for a 24/7 production operation, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Collaborate with design engineers, operation engineers, IT, purchasers, and other internal staff to meet project objectives.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, and relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., FDA) to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
- Project management within cost and time constrained environments, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Set up systems for troubleshooting and problem-solving of IT systems, Industrial Automation Systems, and Plant Floor Instrumentation.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and Quality standards.
- Provide advice, consultancy support, and assist in the development of new business proposals.
- Purchase equipment and write specifications for new software requirements.
- Accept responsibility and a level of accountability commensurate with the seniority of the position.
- Provide troubleshooting help and guidance to the plant’s maintenance department as required.
- Assist in the development of a technical training program for the maintenance department.
- Maintain positive and service-oriented work relationships with customers, vendors, and internal operational business partners.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standard requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and 2 years of professional level job-related experience; OR 5 years of professional level job-related experience.
- 2 years of professional level job-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years of experience in managerial or leadership positions.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs (SLCs, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, ControlLogix), PanelView, and PanelView Plus.
- Experience with Rockwell RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalkView ME & PanelBuilder.
- Familiarity with Omron PLCs and Omron CX-One software.
- Knowledge of Wonderware InTouch, ArchestrA System Platform, MES, Information Server, Historian, I/O Servers & DA Servers.
- Experience with ACP ThinManager and ThinServer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and SQL Server environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio, AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD Electrical, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
