Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Collaborate with our design team to develop and improve automation equipment and systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Manufacturing and Fabrication: Fabricate, assemble, and modify automation equipment and systems, including troubleshooting and repairing complex issues.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of automation equipment and systems to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
- International Travel: Travel up to 20% per year to support our global manufacturing facilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Education and Experience: 5 years of experience as a toolmaker, machine builder, or equivalent experience.
- Skills and Qualifications: Analytical and creative problem-solving skills, self-management, planning, and organizational skills, working knowledge of CAD software, proficiency in operating mills, lathes, and surface grinders, and ability to read and interpret detailed prints.
- Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as a toolmaker, machine builder, or equivalent, experience in the wire processing or connector industry, and ability to interpret schematics to perform electrical field wiring of sensors, valves, and motors.
