Job Summary:

The Automation and Controls Management Engineer will be the technical expert responsible for designing, planning, and implementing critical automation systems for LHH. This role involves ensuring system availability, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with IT, Operations, and third-party providers to drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and implement automation systems to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure system availability and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, and third-party providers to integrate automation systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support automation systems.
  • Provide technical expertise to cross-functional teams to drive business growth and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in manufacturing automation.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL and ERP systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with Aveva Wonderware and MES platforms.
  • 1+ year of experience with Java programming.
  • 5+ years of experience in data flow, inventory transfer, and PLCs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with 2 years of related experience, or 5 years of professional experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Rockwell RSLogix, Omron PLCs, and other automation systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
