This position works cooperatively with all the directors, managers, and line staff to lead the scheduling and delivery of five-star, gold-standard services in a timely and professional manner for residents and guests. It serves as the liaison for the contracted services such as the salon and valet, and will supervise and schedule the front desk, receptionist, and concierge staff.

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and manage the concierge, front desk, and reception staff members.
  • Supervise activities of the Front Desk/Concierge team including operations and procedures, task assignments, campus security, scheduling, job performance, and training to provide excellent customer service as rated on annual resident satisfaction surveys and excellent guest experience.
  • Fill in at the front desk in both the concierge and resident services roles when open shifts arise; shifts will include days, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Manage expenses of sales/marketing and concierge team to meet operational budgets.
  • Support residents in scheduling services (maintenance, personal transportation, etc.).
  • Work cooperatively with the Move-In Coordinator and Building Services Director to support residents and their families moving into the community.
  • Schedule and manage all guest suite room bookings and cleanings.
  • Oversee mail and parcel operations, as well as newspaper and other such deliveries within the community.
  • Manage new mini store opening and revenue.
Requirements and Expectations:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years' experience supervising or managing a team
  • 1+ years experience working with older adults preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook.
  • Model the Touchmark Values in decision-making and in interactions with team members, residents, and guests.
  • Ensure that the department adheres to the Touchmark Gold Standard.
  • Lead a stand-up meeting each day to reinforce and foster a culture of teamwork and commitment to the Touchmark mission, values, and Gold Standard.
