The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of healthcare informatics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Archiving: Lead efforts in decommissioning legacy applications and systems acquired through mergers or acquisitions. Coordinate with application Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to define scope and execute archiving strategies.
  • User Training and Support: Conduct training sessions to educate users on optimal system utilization. Ensure that end-users, ranging from nurses to directors, understand best practices and efficient access methods.
  • Data Validation and Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity during application archiving processes. Apply QA principles to maintain data quality and consistency.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with the Delivery Team to complete application workbooks, manage timelines, and communicate progress effectively. Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies to adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Compliance and Standards: Uphold HIPAA standards and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive healthcare information. Provide guidance on Release of Information (ROI) and designated record sets as per regulatory requirements.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Engage tactfully with stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and align archiving strategies with organizational goals. Facilitate discussions in a clear and professional manner.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience in project management and application consulting within healthcare or related industries. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and working knowledge of multiple healthcare systems.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to navigate technical environments, though fluency in technical jargon is not required. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum Framework and experience using JIRA is a plus.
  • Education: Background in Health Informatics or related field preferred. Understanding of revenue cycle operations and ROI concepts beneficial.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic, iterative environment.
